Many thanks to the uploader for giving us this important film from the Palestinian actor/director Mohammad Bakri. The 2002 Israeli assault on Jenin refugee camp was a major war crime, and this documentary gives voice to those who endured and survived, even as it defends the memory of those who were cruelly murdered by the IDF. Once screened, the film's suppression within Israeli-controlled territory will be understood, as well as the vexatious lawsuits brought by individual perpetrators. Official Israel does not want this film to be seen because it puts the lie to Zionism's official account of the role of the IDF in enforcing state policy, ie violating the basic rights of a captive population.
But Palestine will be free and whole one day. The dispossessed will return, and equality will at last prevail.
